He crosses the Sahara desert to the North Africa coast on foor equipped with only his usual stuff, the camping kettle, his SOG navy Seal’s knife and a fire steel. Here he catches an octopus for his dinner. He shows which parts are edible and which are not and how to clean the darn thing. He fashions a shelter out of acacia trees and even dines on moths and locusts.

yet another episode of Man vs Wild starring Bear Grylls , the survivlaist takes us into Guatemala. Bear Grylls rappels onto a live volcano in Guatemala. This volcano is very active and considering te risk taken, this episode is worth the time it took to watch. Bear Grylls next navigates a waterfall in an underground cave telling us how to do it and how not to do it. He scavenges food from whatever nature has provided in the area and even tries to show us the method to create a nest to safely sleep in but gets an unwelcome bed buddy, and encounters ancient Mayan ruins.The final lesson to be learnt here is … to survive harsh conditions with only the limited tools available like a SOG navy Seal’s Knife, a basic camping kettle and water bottle, and a fire flint you must know the method to do stuff  !!

Bear Grylls takes on Big Sky Country. He paraglides above the Rockies in the very first scene. Para gliders would know how difficult it is to land in the rockies for one wrong step and you will not survive the fall. Bear Grylls is a survivor and he does it with ease. He then traverses vast gullies, and makes the most of abandoned debris which has now become his trademark. Of course survivors in such areas would not get their hands on tools and it is these debris that he must start using to survive the scenario. Bear as ususal only carries his fire flint, his survival kettle and the bits and pieces and of course his favorite SOG Navy Seals Knife. And finally makes his great escape on a moving train.

If you had geography in your school you would probably be knowing how often and frequently Typhoon hits china and how often the yellow river Hwang Ho floods into the country killing numerous people. In Southern China Bear Grylls arrives in the aftermath of a tropical typhoon. He tackles swollen rivers which are flooded because of the water over flow, scales slippery limestone faces, avoids disaster with stinging ants, and utilizes ancient tribal techniques to catch bats for food. Chinese people are known for their fitness and did you know bats are a part of the diet if survival is on the menu.
